A multicultural church in the heart of Berlin, changing people's perceptions about Jesus and His Church.
A little about...
Berlin Connect is a multicultural church in the heart of Berlin. Our philosophy is simply to love God, love people and love life. Our motto is - 'Come as you are'
Do you have any questions?
Connecting our Sundays to our Midweek
Sitting together around a table of friendship and family is important for all of us. As a church we place great value on developing meaningful and personal connections midweek through our Dinner Parties. These are hosted throughout the city and enable us to put into practice midweek what we are learning on Sundays.
Shining brightly in society
Our desire is to contribute to the well-being of society as a whole through social enterprise and leadership innovation. Out of the overflow of our lives we can serve our city by getting involved, finding and supporting positive solutions that place value, speak to people's potential and point to vision that shapes a better society.
Are you free this Sunday?
Come join us
We are unashamedly passionate about the House of God. We welcome visitors at Berlin Connect and would love to have you join us in church this weekend.
Finding positive solutions to the challenges our city faces.
Globalisation and urbanisation are affecting everyone at some level of life, and Berlin is no exception to this. Berlin has found a way of re-emerging as a strategic urban hotspot for creativity and innovation, but with this newfound momentum our city is becoming increasingly aware of the many challenges that come with growth and change.
A key factor that holds modern societies together is the health of our social structure and with this in mind, the futureminded group is committed to finding and supporting positive solutions to the challenges our city faces now and in the future. We believe that the future of Berlin can be shaped positively by the resourcefulness of the people that call Berlin their home.
“Work for the peace and prosperity of the city where I have sent you to and pray to the Lord for this. For there is a connection between the well-being of the city and your well-being.”

Heart for the House
Equal sacrifice, not equal giving
Expressing kindness in our city.
Our desire is that all who call Berlin Connect home are involved in expressing kindness locally and globally. Whilst we can personally express kindness to those in our community we also join collectively to empower the more vulnerable in our city, working primarily through our Dinner Parties and Sisterhood.
Globally we partner with the following strategic organisations.
The A21 Campaign - Stopping human trafficking.
The A21 Campaign stands for abolishing injustice in the 21st century.
When confronted with the horrific statistics surrounding human trafficking, it is easy to agree on the fact that "someone should do something". The A21 Campaign was born when the decision was made to raise our hand and be that "someone". It was a decision of ordinary people who decided to take responsibility regarding the issue of human trafficking.
The A21 campaign:
- Prevents people from being trafficked
- Protects and supports those who have been trafficked
- Prosecutes traffickers and strengthens legal responses to trafficking
- Partners with law enforcement, service providers and community members to provide a comprehensive front against trafficking.
We support the A21 campaign through various projects such as our Dinner Parties with purpose, charity parties or through the profit of sandwiches, cookies and cakes on Sundays. Click here to get more information and support the A21 campaign.
Compassion - Sponsoring children in Uganda.
Compassion is a child sponsorship organization that is committed to the spiritual, economic, social and physical development of children living in extreme poverty in 26 countries, enabling them to become responsible, fulfilled Christian adults.
Children are clearly the greatest victims of poverty. Of the 2.2 billion children in our world today, nearly half of them live in desperate conditions. But it is these children who hold the potential to break the cycle of deprivation for future generations.
Compassion has over 50 years of experience working with some of the poorest communities in the world. During that time, more than one million children have been assisted by Compassion.
We support Compassion through contributing to the global Compassion Sunday as well as through individual sponsors in our church. Click here to get more information and support Compassion.
Charity: water - Changing lives with clean water.
Charity: water is a non-profit organization bringing clean and safe drinking water to people in developing nations. There are 800 million people on the planet who don't have clean water.
A water well will provide clean water for a community of up to 500 people. Charity: water works by the 100% model: 100% of all donations to Charity: water go directly to the field to fund water projects.
Every year we take part in the annual "Berliner Wasserbetriebe 5x5 km TEAM-Staffel" relay race to raise funds for Charity: water addressing the global water crisis. Since 2011, the Charity: water annual relay race has raised $24,929 (€18,244) for clean water projects serving 1149 people in rural Ethiopian communities. Vision Rescue - Rescuing street children in Mumbai, India.
Vision Rescue is a non-profit organisation involved in feeding, providing non-formal education, medical help, skill training and other kinds of help to addicted and abused street children.
Biju Thampy founded the ministry in 2004 after seeing the enormous need and feeling compelled to step in and make a difference even if it was only for one child.
Vision Rescue now run four buses in Mumbai where children are given food and a non-formal education with the aim of graduating into vocational training, as well a medical van and a mobile dental unit. Their work has expanded out beyond helping the street children to include working with Mumbai’s prostitutes, drug addicts and other vulnerable groups in the city.
Another project from Vision Rescue is the Dream Centre, a shelter and transition home for trafficked girls.
We support Vision Rescue through our Dinner Parties with purpose and organizing charity parties. Click here to get more information and support Vision Rescue.
Seeing women flourish and empowered.
Sisterhood is passionate about placing value on women of all ages and empowering them to flourish in every season of life.
We believe that collectively we can make a difference locally and globally and endeavour to gather, equip and mobilise women to be part of the solution.
We get together for morning tea every Thursday from 10:30 to 12:30 at the ‘Hub’ Weinbergsweg 24, where we are inspired, encouraged, have fun, receive input, pray and outwork the vision of our church.

Dinner Parties with Purpose
Take your place at the table.
Dinner Parties with purpose are not merely about 'what is on' the table but more about 'who is around' the table. Eating together in a relational way has great benefits for our lives as it creates a sense of belonging, caring, sharing and family. It’s a place where authentic friendships flourish and where we collectively express kindness locally and globally.
We get together fortnightly on Wednesdays in homes, cafes and bars across the city and would love to invite you to 'take your place' at the table and get connected into a Dinner Party.
To find a Dinner Party near you please contact Dave email@example.com.
Becoming resilient citizens for the future.
We purposefully place value on the youth of our city. By expressing God’s message in a relevant way we want to equip our 12 to 18 year olds to become resilient urban citizens for the future.
Through diverse forums and get-togethers we aim to create an environment of trust and friendship that supports and inspires young people, to be positive and hopeful about life and the dreams they have. Friday nights and Sundays are a big deal.
Preparing the next generation.
Our desire at Berlin Connect is to create a safe, fun-filled environment that children love coming to. The Next Generation Team are passionate about expressing the message of Jesus in a creative, relevant way. We pray that your children will encounter Jesus as their Lord and Saviour and grow up knowing who they are in Christ.
We truly believe that children are a gift from the Lord (Psalm 127:3) and count it an honour to play our part in raising champions.
We're providing a fun kids program in the morning during the 11 am and 1 pm service.
Doors open at 10:30 and 12:30. You are more than welcome to come earlier for a coffee or a hot chocolate!
We are looking forward to seeing you.

Connecting to a bigger picture.
Hillsong and Colour Conferences are annual gatherings that unite people from every walk of life and church background. An environment that places value, speaks to potential and points to Godly vision.
Hillsong Conference is about ‘Championing the cause of the local Church’. You will be inspired, refreshed and energised to live out your God-given purpose and will find great strength and unity amongst the diversity of the local Church worldwide.
Colour Conference is much more than a conference. It is a gathering, strengthening, sharpening, equipping and mobilising of thousands of women around the world. It is a stand for justice and the mobilisation of women, who have experienced the incredible grace and love of a wonderful Saviour.
